What turns me off from this method is that figuring out how off you were when missing your frame is dreadful. It's not outside the realms of possibility to get a near perfect egg through this method. That being said, egg rng in this game seems to be pretty optimal. something I am not willing to do with such a high chance of missing the desired frame. Wild Pokemon rarely will have great stats without lots of waiting. My computer runs RNG Reporter wonderfully and I use Eontimer v1.6 (although I'm not entirely sure how accurate its default time is for gen 3 since it doesn't match some of the frame times Smogon gives you). I own GBA SP, DS Phat, and Gamecube GBA player (obviously a gamecube too). I own a copy of every GBA game, as well as Colosseum and Gale of Darkness. The goal is to find the simplest rng methods that net shiny pokemon with good IVs. The more games the better, but any helpful information you are absolutely sure of is welcome. Let it be known that I have no preference whatsoever to what games I RNG on, so long as it's in gen 3. That being said, I would love to learn more about it, as well as any little tricks people have towards their success. I've come to understand certain aspects about gen 3 rng, and what has seemed to be apparent is every method feels less worthy of time than in future generations. I'm going back to gen 3 to beat to Battle Frontier and Orre Colosseum before Sun & Moon come out, and want a cool team to migrate up to them.
I've already been successfully RNGing in gen 5 with no issues (Not at all related to gen 3 other than that I am somewhat acquainted with the subject). (There's a TL DR at the end but if you're going to comment, please actually read the section pertaining to your contribution)
